This session will address OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens standard requirements and the elements that your exposure control program must address. Brian will discuss the OSHA inspection process, the documents employers are expected to maintain, and common questions that are asked during the inspection process.

Participants will be able to identify the requirements of the Bloodborne Pathogens standard. Participants will be able to review their exposure control plan, identify the required elements of their exposure control plan, and document their annual evaluation of their program. Participants will be able to recognize common control methods used to protect workers from the transmission of Bloodborne Pathogens.
